The Department of Computer Science is currently accepting applications from undergraduate students for Summer 2024 projects eligible for funding through NSERC USRA and UTEA.
Value: $7,500.00 for projects eligible for NSERC USRA and UTEA funding.
Application Deadline: Thursday January 4, 2024, 11:59pm EST
Eligibility: NSERC USRA and UTEA awards are open to second-year or higher full-time students who have a cumulative average
of at least B+. USRA awards are open exclusively to Canadian citizens or permanent residents. UTEA awards are open to Canadian
citizens or permanent residents, as well as foreign student with valid student visa for the full summer work term.
**If applying to the NSERC Black Student and Indigenous Student Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRAs), you must self-identify as Black and/or Indigenous on the application form.**
How to apply: Students that are Canadian or permanent residents of Canada are requested to fill out the NSERC USRA application;
these students will automatically be considered for UTEA as well. International students may apply solely to UTEA below.
